Sorry about the delay in posting. I got caught up in trying to upgrade my TV’s in the house because of this coming digital revolution but things did not go smoothly and time just flew by. One of these days I just might convert to cable or satellite but in the mean time the trusty old outside antenna will just have to do.

Just a quick summary of the day’s activity since the ratings remain unchanged.

The Merv’s Daily Uranium Index closed lower by 8.18 points or 7.93%. There were 6 winners, 37 losers and 7 unchanged. Cameco lost 10.2%, Denison lost 5.4%, Paladin lost 15.5%, Uranium One lost 12.8% and USEC lost 15.8%. The best winner was Strathmore Minerals with a gain of 30.3% and the worst loser was Uranium Resources with a loss of 24.6%.

It was not one of the better days. The Index is sitting on top of the box lower support line so today’s action may be very interesting. Any significant lower close may breach the support and down it goes. A bounce off the line may start a rally back towards the upper line. We’ll just have to wait and see.
