Merv's Daily Uranium Table, 17 Dec 2008

The Components of the Uranium Indices have been slightly revised today with four deletions and four additions. The Table is based upon the 50 largest stocks by market value as of today's data. These 50 are from my file of 210 uranium stocks. The file may not be complete and I welcome any suggestions for stocks that should be in the file OR any stocks I might have missed and should be included in the Index. The criteria for the Index is active North American traded stocks with at least a year of historical data. As mentioned, the Index includes the top 50 market value stocks from the file. As you may understand, those stocks at the bottom of the value level have a lot of competition and the standings may change from day to day. I will review the stocks occasionally unless there is some serious oversight in inclusions.

In the Table today there are daily values for the Toronto listed stocks. It seems that many stocks did trade a few trades before the exchange went down so the daily close may be a little off. Tomorrow should show what happened.
